Dental Implantogy

Background

The dental implant market represents a large opportunity, with many procedures involving bone drilling and pilot hole preparation.

SpineGuard has identified at least three relevant applications for its DSG® technology in dental implantology representing an estimated 8 million procedures performed annually worldwide:

• Sinus lift / Sinus detection without perforation
• Lower jaw / Avoidance of the alveolar nerve
• Zygomatic and pterygoid implants / Avoidance of anatomical structures

These procedures demand precision and safety to protect critical anatomical structures and ensure successful implant placement.

 Some Preliminary work has been undertaken to embed DSG  into dental drilling devices and SpineGuard is currently seeking for industrial partners specialized in this field.
